Kırıkkale University has two campuses; one on
the 7th kilometer along Kırıkkale-Ankara motorway (Central
Campus) and the other in Keskin District (Campus of Keskin). The central
campus has an area of 21 thousand acres. When the 6 buildings, which are
still under construction, are completed on an area of 7 thousand acres,
20,000 students will be able to accommodate within the Central Campus. In
addition to the rapidly conducted infrastructure and landscape studies,
afforesting the campus area through the “Green Belt” project is seriously
emphasized. In the Central Campus, the Presidency, The Faculties of
Education, Science and Literature, Law, Engineering and Veterinary
Medicine, Economics and Administrative Sciences, the Institutes of Science
and Social Sciences, the School of Physical Education and Sports,
Kırıkkale Vocational School, Medico-Social Center, Research of
Environmental Issues and Application Center, Handicrafts Research and
Application Center, Center of Exploring History of Kırıkkale Province,
Structure and Soil Survey and Examination Center and University Radio are
situated. The Campus of Keskin is established on an area of 300 acres that
was earned through the takeover conducted by the Higher Board of
Privatization of the ready wear facilities which once belonged to Köyteks
Holding. Within the Campus, there exist classrooms and administration
building, ready wear workshop, dormitory building accommodating 162
students, canteen-cafeteria and social facilities building with a gym,
sports facilities and lodging houses. The Faculties of Medicine and
Dentistry, the Institute of Health Sciences and Education of Foreign
Languages, Research and Application Center (KÜYADİM) are located in the
city center. The university is striving to complete a well-organized
campus within short notice. Süleyman Demirel Research and Application
Hospital is one of the units located in the city center. The courses are
given both in the Central Campus and within the hospital building.
