Four
libraries, which were in service at different locations, were gathered under
the roof of a three-storey library building within the campus area after
being completed in 2004. This new library has a developed computer
infrastructure. Besides searching books on the internet, the students also
can search the international publications and thesis on the internet. To
make the students read and study efficiently there are one or two double
rooms for reading on each floor.
In
addition, Governor Behiç Çelik Library commenced service in 2001 inside
Süleyman Demirel Research and Application Hospital. Kırıkkale University,
which has another library on Keskin Campus, has been increasing its archive
of books and periodicals. Total number of books in all our libraries has
added up around 40,000; 31,000 Turkish and 9,000 written in foreign
languages. Also the library is subscriber to more than 400 journals and 117
periodicals; 88 of them in foreign languages and 29 of them in Turkish.
